Machine Learning Summer Camp

Description:

The University of Minnesota Extension, UMN Crookston together with resources from Minnesota Ag In the Classroom will host a 5-week, virtual, 15 minute, asynchronous weekly series that will touch on regional, agricultural-based content sharing basic concepts in science, agriculture, nutrition.


Minnesota Writing Project Summer Camps

Target Age Range:
students going into grades 7 & 8 and 9–12 in fall 2020. We also have family camps for families with at least one child in grades 4–6 (these are meant to be done as a family)
Fee:

$125 per camp (Family Writing Workshops for families with youth in grades 4–6 only pay for one registration for the entire household)

Synchronous/Asynchronous:
One hour of synchronous time on Zoom with emailed directions and resources for at least 2 hours of activities each day.
Description:

Offering time and inspiration, Minnesota Writing Project Summer Camps support writers in a collaborative, non-evaluative atmosphere where they can explore a variety of genres. These one-week workshops engage young writers in reading and crafting a variety of forms based on the theme and focus of the camp.

Welcome to the PlantMaker Studio...online! While we can't be together in the PlantMaker Studio at the Arboretum, join us to make a plant and nature exploration tool kit! It's FREE, just like when you visit the Learning Center on Saturdays and Sundays at the Arboretum.

This spring and summer, we'll be working on projects that you can do where you live with materials you already have on hand. Join Reba each week for a new project that will help you learn a little bit more about the plants that live around you.
